Ingredient notes
We started this recipe with 4 frozen pork chopsthese were center cut, about 1″ thick. We would not use 2 inch thick pork chops for this timing. You may be able to use up to 6 in the same dish. They must be in one single layer without overlapping for best results.
- Garlic powder and onion powder
- Salt and pepper are basics
- Paprika works too
- 1 packet Gravy mix
Cooking tips
What if they are stuck together in one big hunk? You will need to make sure they are separated and put into the dish in one layer to cook evenly and reach a safe temp. To do this run under some cold water until they loosen and use your hands to break them apart.

Of course depending on how thick your pieces are, the cooking time may vary slightly. If you thaw the meat like with our baked pork chops with dry rub it only takes about 12 – 15 minutes. When we made our thin pork chops in oventhey need 50% less time to cook.
