Disneyland Electrical Parade
The Disneyland electrical parade is back and as much fun as it was when we was a kid! Here are pictures of the excitement and what you can expect.

So we visited both Disneyland and California Adventure last week on a Wednesday. Other than spending the day together our youngest daughter and we were excited to see the Disneyland electrical parade! (originally published 5/17)
Ok, so our 8 year old didn't know what to expect but we did!! We grew up in Southern California and visited Disneyland Theme Park often. We would always stay until dark to see this parade as it lit up Main Street.
We couldn't wait to see if it were like we had remembered it 30ish years ago and it was…..love, loved it!
We had such a great time visiting both parks and seeing the electrical parade!
But let's start with tips on finding discount Disneyland tickets shall we??
- If you want discount Disneyland tickets immediately you can find them here + use code typical10 promo code at checkout for an added discount!
- If you have a bit of time you can read our post on how to get into Disneyland for free.
- Enjoy the park and all it has to offer like their light parade!

We don't know why but these little guys were the first thing we thought of when we heard the Disneyland electrical parade was coming back. one of those memories ingrained in our brain from our childhood. Twirling around together as though they were dancing, they sure made us smile.
We sat near the entrance of the park on Main Street and got a great seat about an hour before it began to make sure we could see it all!
- We met some new people as we were waiting and shared a caramel apple that resembled Minnie Mouse's head. lol. It was good.
Great time to grab dinner or dessert, find a spot to sit, and enjoy people watching and chatting before the light parade begins. There are plenty of benches up and down Main Street as well as curbs to lay a blanket down and get comfy!

Not only did they have lots of lights and music, but characters dancing down Main Street too which is always fun.
A great way to end your day at Disneyland and if you visited as a child it will surely bring back some memories for you like it did for us. A great part of our childhood.
If you're planning a Disneyland visit soon we would make sure you don't leave too early and find a great seat at about 7:30 so you can see it all too. Wonderful day as always spending it one on one with our youngest.
