We use it almost every night so we are always trying to come up with simple throw together meals that cook in less than 10 minutes, and we can't believe how much this has changed the way we cook!
You may have figured out how to make a batch of Ninja Foodi rice because there is a cheater button for that. BUT there are so many other things in store for your family. You can make a ton of one pot meals like casseroles, chicken Instant Pot frozen roastpork, the list goes on and on.
If you are new to pressure cooking we have a lot of easy one pot meal recipes for you here. To begin with let's start with a few basic tips:
- You can PRINT this —–> Instant Pot cooking times cheat sheet that will help you understand how long meat, vegetables and beans take to cook in your pressure cooker.
- We HIGHLY recommend you buy this non stick pot.
- You should know how to deglaze a pressure cooker after sautéing but it won't have as many issues with this better liner.
For reference, this is the model we have (a 6 quart) and use for all recipe creations.

We was intimidated at first too. It took us at least a month to even take it out of the box because we had never even touched a pressure cooker before. We used our crockpot for everything.
- We still use our slow cooker pretty frequently, but not nearly as often as we did before. Pressure cookers make everything in a fraction of the time!
We love sharing easy Instant Pot videos on YouTube and on Pynmi Facebook page. You should follow both of those especially if you're a newbie. One thing about us is that we never use “weird” ingredients you don't already have in your cupboard. We are a busy busy parent who works full time so it's all about easy recipes here.
Freebies are our thing too. We have always been a frugal person and was a teacher for many years so we always appreciated free printables. This is one we offer here on Pynmi blog. You can find many others if you click on the tab at the top of our site.

We have a FREE Ninja Foodi eBook here if you have that multi cooker. Looking for a free Instant Pot cookbook? Here are a few quick and easy electric pressure cooker cookbooks you can have for $0 if you have Kindle Unlimited:
