Frozen Brussel Sprouts in Air Fryer

Our easy frozen brussel sprouts in the air fryer recipe with balsamic vinegar glaze gets them super crispy and is the best way of how to cook frozen brussel sprouts. good vegetarian side dish we make weekly.

Cooking frozen brussel sprouts is the easiest healthy side dish. You throw them in rock hard and they will be tender inside and crispy crunchy on the outside. Easy balsamic glaze instructions included too. One of many easy air fryer recipes We love.
You may have cooked air fryer brussel sprouts already, but those were fresh and/or thawed out. Now that it is winter time and produce is slim at the store, you're all about frozen vegetables now. It is easier to make than you think really.
You make them simple with these two items whisked together, or sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve as is. We didn't acquire a taste for these babies until we was in our 40's but not we cannot get enough of them in all sorts of ways.

You may have only only cooked brussel sprouts at 450. That was how we did it for years and years until we got this little kitchen appliance. We started with this pressure cooker and air fryer and then our Cosori arrived. Now we have two so we can cook two things at once, yes our oven is jealous. This is what you'll need:
Ninja Foodi Frozen Brussel Sprouts
In the Ninja Foodi you will use the lid that is attached to crisp with the basket that is included that is round and set inside with holes on the bottom. This allows the hot air to rotate properly.
If you have only bought veggies fresh or canned, frozen is so much better than the latter. We're talking everything is better than out of a can. Submerged in water always makes a softer, soggy texture…that's a no go for us. This even goes for air fryer corn.

How Long to Cook Frozen Brussel Sprouts in Air Fryer
You always want to preheat your machine before adding any food in order for it to cook at an even rate the whole time. Then set aside 15-20 minutes to make this. These are whole, if they're halved we would adjust timing to closer to 12 minutes cook time
Should you shake the basket?
It is important to shake the basket when cooking air fryer frozen vegetables a few times to rotate them as they will likely be overlapped and you want each piece to be able to be surrounded by that hot air to achieve the ideal texture and tenderness on the inside.

How to Season
You want some Salt and pepper to taste, with melted butter too but go further with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar like our roasted brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze too which gives it a umami pop of goodness.
If you are a texture person like we are, this is it. You will not only get fork tender centers but the outside can be as crispy as you want it to become. a light olive oil spray will enhance this with an extra minute or two. What else you can add to make them over the top and “fancier”.
Adding chopped walnuts on top when done are great, some dried cranberries add a bit of sweetness too. Add air fryer pumpkin seeds during the fall for a crunch. Or sprinkle in some sunflower seeds out of the shell to add some texture
We have provided a printable recipe card at the bottom of this post for you. Of course we love to “see you” so you can come back time and time again for instructions. We want to show you how easy this is though so we're sharing a quick step by step here:

Those are good too and we use a lot of butter, oh our our mouth waters thinking about them. Any way you make them, if you should have leftovers they save quite well to enjoy them the next day.
To save leftovers you should wait until they are at room temperature. Then we like to use a freezer bag so you can suck all of the excess air out first. Then store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in your Ninja foodi or AirWave at 400 degrees for about 4 minutes, shaking halfway thorough that time. This will get them crispy again.
